In case you missed today’s service this is the reading from Liz Glasgow.
God called Marlene home, and took her by the hand. To guide her up the stairway, to the promised land. God needed another angel, he certainly chose the best. He took her from her suffering, to give her heavenly rest.
When we say our last farewells, the teardrops always hurt. You won’t see them run down my cheek, for I am crying in my heart. I am sure leaving us all, was never Marlene’s desire. God needed her lovely voice, to enhance his heavenly choir.
Marlene will be with us each Sunday, looking from heaven above. Sending us all her healing, and all her warming love. Junior may feel lonely, his world a little colder. He will never walk alone, for Marlene will be on his shoulder.

Linda Scott gave a wonderful address, followed by an array of tender messages from spirit. All this was marshalled by Alan Strange (Vice President) with his usual good sense of humour. It was just joyful to watch a church in the full flow of Spirit. ... See MoreSee Less
