Sunday Morning Services at 11am
For those interested in learning more about the religion of Spiritualism we offer a Sunday Morning Divine Service where people of all faiths, or none, are welcome to attend. Like other religions we do have ministers, but our Divine Services tend to be taken by speakers visiting from all over the UK.
These speakers share their beliefs and understanding of Spiritualism in the form of an address. This is followed by a demonstration of mediumship. Healing is an important part of Spiritualism and we offer healing after the Sunday Divine Service, which is available to everyone.
Weddings, Funerals & Naming Ceremonies
Taking our role within the local community seriously is an important aspect of our work. Our resident Officiating Celebrant regularly carries out weddings, naming ceremonies and funerals personally tailored to the requirements of individuals and their families. Within the Lothians over 20 Spiritualist wedding ceremonies are performed each year and our services are often called upon by non spiritualists too. Our unique style of embracing an open and personal approach to all our services makes our range of services attractive to those from all religious backgrounds and walks of life.

Hospital & Community Visiting
Being a member of our Church is about being valued as part of the Spiritualist Community and our outreach service acts as an important means of contact for members who can’t attend our services and meetings to keep in touch with the work of the Association and other members.
Our resident Officiant also acts as a Honorary Chaplin to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and is on hand to serve those who would benefit from a hospital visit or pastoral care. If you are soon to be going into hospital and would welcome a visit from your Spiritualist Chaplin, please indicate it on you admission form and tell one of the nursing staff who will be happy to contact us on your behalf.
